Take-5 Blazer Records-WORLD

The Blazer stage is retained every month, because it is fun and fast for every one. It is six (6) large rectangular plates (18" x 24") arranged in a semi-circle 9 yards from the shooting box. The plates are separated by a distance of 4' edge to edge. From the ground to the bottom of each plate is 4'.

Pistol shooters shoot five (5) sequential plates, beginning at one end or the other. For example, if you shoot left to right, you would begin at the far left plate and your stop plate (the last plate you shoot) is the second from the right. This is the fifth plate and your stop plate.

Rifle shooters shoot all six (6) plates in sequence, beginning at either end. This makes the plate at the far end from where you begin your stop (last) plate. Hitting plates out of sequence is acceptable, as long as the stop plate is hit last. If your stop plate is hit out of sequence, time stops and all un-hit plates are scored as misses.

All Take-5^Ó shooter's times are retained so that they can see how they have done - and how they have improved.
