Match Photos (updated May 17)

The 2008 match is now in the history books and we are looking forward to 2009. Thanks to our Match Sponsors, Hogue, Inc. and Uncle Ed's Outfitters and all our supporting sponsors, plus the incredible Take-5© Team, this was a terrific, fun match. There were 96 registered competitors, with 91 completing the match. We gave away 21 guns and fine prize packages to every competitor. The lunch was wonderful, the post-match BBQ with live music and friendly speed shooting competitions added to the day. Thanks everyone!

The juniors were a real hit of the match, with the youngest being 10 years and a 14 year old finishing 2nd in Limited and 21st overall. Thanks to their parents and families for their support.

What is in store for 2009? For one, more juniors will be here, enjoying this fun sport. The Take-5© Team is already planning the stages that are both fun and challenging, enhancing 2008 stages and adding new. We are always open to suggestions and this match incorporated many. It was requested already to utilize more of our remote control, air-reset target technology and we will most likely do that. Will the ducks be back, maybe this time using a floating boat? More flying pigs and those bowling pins that seem easy? Time will tell.

Please enjoy the photos as they are posted. We are going through several hundred and these are just the beginning.

Blazer: the world's fastest .22 rimfire stage. Present world record for a single pistol string is 1.42 seconds and rifle is a truly blazing 1.24 seconds.
